At the time of writing, Jumanji has just hit DVD and Blu-Ray (i.e. the new version with The Rock and Jack Black, not the old one).
By all accounts, it is a tremendous movie. It even attracted better reviews than the original. Alas, we are still blinded by nostalgia, so we love that this attempt from NetEnt is actually based upon the older movie rather than the new one.
Brilliant Theming
This game just ‘feels’ like Jumanji. There is a reason why NetEnt always seem to be awarded some of the best movie licences when it comes to making their games.
It is because they know how to do them properly. So, think along the lines of animals from the movie, a jungle theme, and some epic music (at least for a 90s comedy). If you love the original movie, then you are going to feel right at home when you play this game.
Simple to Play
The slot is simple to play, although we doubt that you expected anything different from NetEnt.
Surprisingly, there are several features packed into Jumanji, which is why we keep playing it, but none of them are particularly difficult to wrap your head around.
